My heart is so full tonight!
Father James Stambaugh became one of my fastest and closest friends in seminary, and we formed a special bond as colleagues in the Center for Anglican Communion Studies (#sonsofthunder). James has been a frequent conversation partner as we have together wrestled with complex issues of theology and ministry, and he has pushed over and over again to be a better, more thoughtful, and more astute Christian as I live into my vocation and ministry.
It was an incredibly deep honor to deacon his ordination, and I am so excited for him and the Holy Apostles family as he lives into his priestly calling. I pray every blessing on James, Deb, and their family, and I look forward to the exciting ministry God has in store for them!
